ITV presenter and journalist Garry Bushell is perhaps best known for his hard-hitting, award-winning newspaper columns, which have been published in the national press for 30 years. He began to explore the minefield that is estate planning after a number of close friends in rock bands died prematurely, explaining:
“Maybe it's a by-product of the Peter Pan life-style, but none of them had Wills in place and this created unnecessary problems for their families.”
Garry is no stranger to rock musicians, having begun his career in 1978 at the rock weekly Sounds. The first journalist to cover such legendary bands as the Specials, U2, Bad Manners, Secret Affair and Twisted Sister, Garry uncovered hundreds of other new bands and managed a few too.
Garry's On The Box TV column has appeared in The Sun, The Daily Star and The People. It currently runs every week in the Daily Star Sunday. His own TV show, of the same name, ran for two series on ITV, attracting more than one million midnight viewers and going on to inspire Harry Hill's TV Burp.
